Love is the Healing Power - Let's Dance!
"What kind of music can heal? ... Singing is the most powerful, for singing is living. It is Prana.
The voice is life itself." ~Hazrat Inayat Khan
In this dance, we will be singing, dancing and asking the Divine for healing on all levels of our physical, emotional and mental being.
The Dances of Universal Peace bring together sacred phrases, chants, music and simple movements from worldwide spiritual traditions, all taught as we do them. No previous dance experience necessary. All welcome!
If you have any friends or family members who need healing, please bring their names written on small pieces of paper, or small pictures of them, to put into the circle to receive our healing prayers of song and dance.
If you are ill and can't come to the dance, or will be out of town, you can contact us to add your own names or your loved one's names. Please email Kate, or text her at 773-368-6560 to add those names for our healing prayer circle.
Please Remember: If you have had any symptoms of illness in the week before our Dance,
Please stay home. Thank you for being thoughtful of others in your planning.

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE:
Please remember to monitor your own health in advance, and be thoughtful of others in your planning. Although Covid is not as devastating as in the past, it is still causing serious illness, and winter is the time when various influenzas and pneumonias are more prevalent.

Through our dancing prayers we are given pathways to home,
to stillness and light reminding us of our soul’s knowing,
deep compassionate listening and a true connection to life itself.
